FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EnvelopeAmerica Announces Green Accreditation: Becomes both FSC and SFI certified.

Boothwyn, PA September 14, 2007 – EnvelopeAmerica, the Mid-Atlantic’s fastest growing envelope company, is bolstering its stance on the environment, securing Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody (COC) certification for its Philadelphia-area facility. The FSC is an international organization that brings people and businesses together to develop solutions that promote responsible stewardship of the world’s forests. In addition, EnvelopeAmerica has become SFI certified as well. The Sustainable Forestry Initiative® program is based on the premise that responsible environmental behavior and sound business decisions can co-exist. SFI program participants practice sustainable forestry on all the lands they manage. These certifications allow EnvelopeAmerica to provide FSC and SFI certified envelopes and printed products to corporations on a national scale.

The unique commitment of both organizations to sustainable forestry recognizes that all forest landowners, not just FSC or SFI program participants, play a critical role in ensuring the long-term health and sustainability of our forests to eliminate habitat destruction, water pollution, displacement of indigenous peoples and violence against people and wildlife that sometimes accompany logging.

“This benefits all of our customers,” Mark Monahan, President of EnvelopeAmerica, said. “The FSC and SFI labels represent a promise that is being made to our customers and their customers. Because of the processes put in place to maintain the chain of custody, they can rest assured that we are promoting the highest environmental standards,” Monahan added.

EnvelopeAmerica’s commitment to the environment extends beyond its FSC and SFI-certification. They recently became the first envelope company in the region to use chemistry free Computer-to-Plate technology, eliminating all chemicals from their prepress department. Through the use of these new and innovative techniques, they have become the area’s “greenest” envelope printing company.

Offering Green-e certified Wind Power envelopes and products, which are considered more beneficial for the environment because they are made from a clean, renewable energy source, is another step toward a cleaner environment. Wind energy serves to avoid the release from conventional electricity generation carbon dioxide, the leading greenhouse gas. Soy-based inks and biodegradable window patches are also available. “We recognize our responsibility to the environment,” Monahan mentioned, “and are moving forward aggressively to live up to that.”

EnvelopeAmerica LLC is a supplier of both custom and standard envelopes, specializing in quick turnarounds, 1-8 color printing and a commitment to customer service. For more information on EnvelopeAmerica, please visit their website at www.envelopeamerica.com or call (866) 778-0220.
